WhatsApp Says It Will Take Action on Mass Messaging

Meta-owned WhatsApp on Monday said it is taking action on accounts using automated and bulk messages at a time when political parties and individual candidates are misusing the platform to reach out to voters ahead of Assembly elections in five states.
