No aging for this rum. It is left to rest in Dame Jeanne for better integration of the alcohol.
Work on rum
A lot of work went into this rum to bring it to fruition. The Brigandine vat, the long fermentation, and the resting in the Dame Jeanne vat—it’s clear that Christophe wants to produce a fine rum.

The additions
No additives in this rum
Smoky, meaty, vegetal, herbaceous, licorice, clove, cinnamon, pepper, coffee.
The nose
As I pour it into my glass, I can already smell that sweet, smoky aroma typical of highly aromatic rums. But what’s surprising is how smooth it is. I’m more us to tasting very powerful rums in this world.
This is a beautifully round rum. The job function email database esters aren’t aggressive (note: this is for experienc connoisseurs who have already work on their nose). The aroma is nonetheless quite expressive. It’s a smoky, meaty scent. There are slight vegetal notes that add a touch of freshness.
But what tickles my nose most are the spices
There’s a wonderful spiciness, with cloves and cinnamon as well.
The aeration allows it to appealing to strong emotions develop well with a vegetal, herbaceous side which takes a good part in the perfume, even crushing the smokiness that I had at the start.
The mouth
On the palate, there is a lovely america email spiciness that takes hold of the palate. It is beautifully round with a slightly oily texture.
The finish is on coffee and a slight pepperiness which is felt to accompany the finish.
